Gypsy jazz played beautifully at light speed, bluegrass guitar and mandolin, monstrous rock and profound dark ballads mesh together in a singular artist in Eric McFadden. Prolific beyond the realms of human energy with over 25 or so albums to his credit, Eric continues to explore new realms in stellar fashion. His latest release, Train to Salvation (Bad Reputation), showcases his virtuosic yet gutsy guitar and outstanding writing in a rich acoustic setting. The CD was co-produced and engineered by Phil "Philbillie" Milner of The Jenny Kerr Band and we can expect some E-Mac jamming during some of the Jenny Kerr opening set, too. The McFadden voice, haunting and rich, ranges from delicate to inhumanly powerful.

Oustide of his regular touring band, EMT (Eric McFadden Trio), his enormous presence, songwriting and virtuosity continue to be in very high demand in other artists' projects, enough for a book. Perhaps most notably, he toured the world as mandolinist/guitarist with Funk legend George Clinton & Parliament/Funkadelic for over 3 years, and continues to collaborate with Clinton on outside projects. Eric is also a member of The Stockholm Syndrome and fuels the amazing Faraway Brothers amongst many other celebrated West Coast bands. On stage he has joined Bo Diddley, Keb Mo', Living Colour, Clash frontman Joe Strummer, Jackson Browne and you get the picture. Everyone wants a piece of Eric's magic.
"McFadden is a master of guitar and mandolin, a 25 year veteran who waltzes the dark, eerie corridors between Jimi Hendrix and Django Reinhardt..." ( Jonathan Zwickel - San Francisco Bay Guardian, October 2004)
"...Part raging rock star, part flamenco gypsy, McFadden is one of the most talented musicians in San Francisco today, bar none. Whenever he steps into the spotlight, McFadden turns up the energy level a few notches, and the unexpected becomes the norm." - (Andy Tennille / Jambase)

Fact #1: JL Stiles is the freakiest fingerpicking guitarist in this great country right now.
Fact #2: JL Stiles believes he has come up with the algorithm for the pure soul of music.
Fact #3: JL Stiles has a mind that sees music in a similar way to how J.S. Bach saw music, however Bach never played the blues.
"Simultaneously classic and original, Stiles lays into his 12-string guitar with the vigor and ambition of a streetwise punk who just discovered Leo Kottke" (Blues Revue)

Jenny and her band, featuring the sure-handed freak of nature, genius singer and guitarist Phil Milner, are nothing short of holy ambassadors for all that is good in American roots music. For over a decade they have been continually called upon to headline huge festivals around the world and when they are back here in the Bay they aren't allowed to lay low for too long.
"Lusty vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Jenny Kerr from San Francisco has no doubt made a habit of pleasing crowds wherever she performs. She’s got a powerful soulfulness in her special brand of Americana, ala blues-rockers Janis Joplin and Delbert McClinton"--Martha Moore, Country Music Plus
